Autistic symptoms or not
Autistic child Female, 35 My son 13 months old What he does : 1.listen favourite songs 2. Lovrales to play peekboo since 8 month till date 3. smiles for his favourite songs or any character 4. Try to find out things if hidden 5. loves to go out 6.he knows when we bring his food 6. Once he tries to start tv with ac remote since he thought it's remote anyway. Walk wihout support 7. Hold our hand or stand in front of us to pick him up 8. Try to show with our hand that he wants something. What he don't do 1.  recognise his name rarely 2. Rarely look into anyone's eye but if video call is going he carefully look and respond. 3. Rarely smiles back. Is he autistic? No history of autism with my or his father side. Someone says due to he is been watching tv for long time he has slower in recognition. I am confused and worried

No eye contact, signalling or pointing to objects he wants and decrease in vocabulary and talking could be early signs of autistic spectrum disorder. Try to spend active time with the baby more. Do a ISSA scale evaluation at a clinical psychologist. Avoid lead containing objects or toys.

Do M chat screening from the android Mchat app you will get an idea about important  things in autism. It will give how is the risk for your child. Ideally it should be done at 18 months. U can assess again later every 3 months.
