Atypical allergy to Old Bay spice?
Every time I eat crab with Old Bay seasoning, a full two days later I will get a light rash over my entire face, neck, and arms, which is bumpy and feels hot to the touch. The first time this happened, my face swelled slightly, but that has not happened since. I rarely eat crab without Old Bay, and I never eat Old Bay without crab. I took a test for a crab allergy and it came back negative, so I assume it must be Old Bay. Is it dangerous to continue eating this? Is anaphylaxis possible?

According to your history, it seems to be hypersensitivity to old Bay. Hence it's advisable to avoid using old Bay as there are chances of you developing anaphylaxis.
