ASOM with ruptured Tympanic membrane
Problem started on 21 Nov, with pain in Lt ear at night, in next day morning, secretion started to oozes out, I consulted and taken medicines as tab Augmentin 625 TDS, Inj gentamicin 80 mg bd, tab metrogyl 400 mg, tab Sinarest Bd, tab Lecope Ad 1 HS. Given sample for culture, and started sensitive antibiotics on 26 nov - cefperazone and sulbactum combination (magnex fort inj 1.5 gm I.v.) and inj Amikacin 500 mg I.v. nd both injection.. Still discharges r there even on vigorous treatment of 10 days.
