Are mental illnesses hereditary
My boyfriend got one brother with autism , this brother got this issue when he was 2yrs old as he got severe fever and stoped breathing for a while until something in his brain got to be not functioable . his sister though , got psychosis three years ago for unknown reason . his youngest sister doesnt make eye contant when i talked to her and doesnt move like normal pepole towards you when you talk . she answers very quickly but quite loud .is she normal? are mental illnesses hereditary?
