Hi, I dont think u need to increase your metabolism. If u are doing so to decrease your postpartum weight then its better you eat healthy and do exclusive breastfeeding and all pregnancy weight will gradually get down to your original weight. Also avoid anything that might not suit you because it will indirectly affect the baby through milk.
