Can a person suffer from both myelodysplastic syndrome and Aplastic Anemia at the same time? If yes, why?

We need a more detailed discussion on this. This is a highly complex answer and i do not think it will be prudent to give an answer without having gone through the reports. At the same time, it is possible that a person diagnosed as aplastic anemia initially later lands up with mds.
