Anxiety in the mornings and in general
I was in stress for a long time recently, after that I went into depression followed by Anxiety. Can't focus, don't feel like going out or even talking to friends and family. Gets extremely tensed for even small things, like missing a cab or getting done daily chores. Crying at unexpected timings for no reason. Once I get angry it became a thing that stays on mind. Moody at workplace, the daily deadlines at office makes all this worse. Got admission in a reputed MBA college. I want to know what I am going through is really an anxiety disorder or a phase I am going through. I wast to know whether I need medical care or not.

Hi. I went through your query in detail and can understand what you must be going through. The symptoms of irritability, crying spells, anxiety, overthinking are all suggestive of underlying depressive disorder. You should consult a psychiatrist and get yourself evaluated completely. Depression and anxiety disorders are treatable with medications and psychotherapy. Earlier the treatment is started better is the response.
Next Steps
Seek a psychiatric consultation.
