I have seen 2-3 patients, who have applied such local remedies for warts. I can understand your condition well. It must be too itchy and painful as well. Don't worry, take oral antibiotics like cefexime 200 mg twice daily for 5 days. Stop applying the local cream that you are using. Instead start application of mupirocin jelly twice daily after washing your face. It might take some time. But have patience,  it'll recover soon. Give me a feedback after 3-4 days.
