Anterior placenta grade 3 maturity
Hi.. Am 33weeks 3days pregnant. When I undergone growth scan, impression was cephalic presentation at 31 weeks placenta anterior at grade 3 maturity. What is meant by grade 3 maturity? Is this any problem?

Placental gradation is 3 generally at 37 weeks. At 33 weeks it suggests early calcification. You should keep monitoring the fetal movements. Your doctor must have advised you to do doppler studies, if not then please ask you doctor to recommend you color doppler with ultasonography.

It is related to a condition called hyaline membrane disease, 33weeks gestational week, I suppose your doctor must have told you to go for a Caesarian delivery?

grade 3 is actually a grading system which show that how placenta mature. its show that ur placenta mature earlier.
