Anterior disc displacement for a prolonged term after medication requires due consideration. Considering her age physiotherapy like ultrasound therapy definetly helps. Medicine treatment and rehabilitation is the first line treatment. Surgery should be last resort.
Hello, it is very difficult to give a final treatment plan without checking the patient as well as all the reports and symptoms. But just to let you know treatment is with analgesics, jaw rest, muscle relaxation, physical therapy, and bite splinting. If these methods fail, surgery may be necessary. Early treatment greatly improves results.I hope this helps.
