Wysolone 10 mg during first trimester

Hi I am 5 weeks pregnant. Can I take Wysolone 10 mg  ( had IUGR with my first pregnancy) till 12 weeks. I read Prednisolone might cause cleft palate or any birth defects. Please advise.

You have read correctly. Wysolone can cause birth defects. I don't know if you were under the care of a qualified Gynaecologist in your first pregnancy.

Rather than contemplating taking this medicine it will be better to concentrate on a protein rich diet The reasons for iugr  need to be evaluated
