The feeling of heaviness will take around total time of a month .. DO NOT WORRY

Wisdom tooth if removed surgically then they do take more time to heal properly. So wait for a week or two. If still problem persist then you can consult doctor online or offline for better guidance and treatment options. Warm saline water rinses two to three times a day, if you feel swelling over face just apply ice pack on that side of face.

hello maam,since there was swelling it will take more time then normal to heal.Also try to open your mouth in your normal range to make that musces lose or else they will become stiff and will result in difficulty to open mouth.Do take yourmedicines.

Hi, Thank you for the query. Wisdom tooth surgeries do take a bit of time to heal. Depending on the amount of infection present at the time of surgery, this could delay healing. However, different people have different healing capacity, so the range of 7-10 days is a range but doesnt necessarily be the same for everyone. With regards to the swelling, if there was considerable amount of bone removed during the surgery, the swelling will take a little more time to resolve. All in all, there is nothing to worry. Just need to be giving yourself time to heal.
