Yes it can affect movement of jaw & opening of mouth too if it's nt erupted properly It can also affect the adjacent tooth

Wisdom tooth if not errupted or partially errupted can have all the above mentioned affects. Atraumatically extracted wisdom tooth will not cause any such problem. If you have been advised for extraction of wisdom tooth- don't overthink, get it done asap
