An impacted tooth is one which fails to erupt in given time and space. An impacted tooth may cause pain in the surrounding gums, dental caries ,soarness of jaw, difficulty in mouth opening ,may push the neighbouring teeth and cause crowding . The treatment will be surgical removal followed by pain killers and antibiotic course. Mouthwash will not help to reduce pain .
