Why does no doctor in India conduct TORCH test even though TORCH infection during pregnancy can be very harmful for the baby.

We do torch and even advise rubella vaccine to all who are no immunized. And in our country usually most people will be torch positive, as most infection have no symptoms in adult though harmful to the baby. Most people will have past infection and not active infection. Past infection is not harmful to the baby only if anyone gets infected during pregnancy or 1 month prior to conception then only torch will harm the foetus.
