The white mark on your tongue may be a healing ulcer or it may be a white mark caused due to constant frictional irritation in that area. Are any teeth adjacent to the mark sharp? Or is that root canal treated tooth in the adjacent region and does it have a new cap?
If you are a smoker or indulge in tobacco in any form you should stop it. Some white lesions in such cases be premalignant changes.
A clinical examination by a dentist or maxillofacial surgeon will be helpful in diagnosis and treatment.
Hope this helps!
