But let me tell you from my 14 years experience that you may recover very well if it is grade 2 tear. please visit a good & experienced sports physiotherapist nearby. Get yourself analysed according to your physiotherapist. Surely you will recover soon!!

Dear you need to visit physiotherapy clinic for treatment, sometimes grade 2 acl tear will heal with physio sessions only, you cant try anything at home in this situation.

Partial tears need not be operated. If the knee is unstable(collapses under pressure)then it might need surgery
