Hi, have randomly been experiencing bouts of coughing and piercing pain in my lower abdomen (left) from time to time for a few seconds. Anything I should/could do about it or is it unrelated and will go away?

Abdominal pain may be because of coughing. Go for Xray Chest to rule out any infective pathology. If Xray is normal can take cough suppressant. and steam inhalation. Can consult for further details.

If the pain is brief, mild, and only happens during coughing, it is often benign and may settle on its own. However, if it persists or worsens, a clinical exam (and possibly an ultrasound) is advisable to rule out other causes.
