Hi! Weight management is about two important things- diet and workout. Even when you say you want to gain weight, you have make sure you gain muscle and not fat. That is the healthy way of gaining weight. So for that, increase the total caloric intake i.e. increase the overall portion sizes of your meals. - Consume more of whole cereals than refined and processed ones such as bread and other bakery products. - Consume plenty of fresh vegetables and whole fruits for antioxidants and fiber. - Consume good quality protein. Increase the amount of dairy products in your diet. If you have non vegetarian food habits, increase the frequency of chicken eggs and fish. If vegetarian, take more of dairy products, include paneer, cheese, curds etc. - Most fats in your diet should come from unsaturated fat sources such as oil seeds eg. Flax seeds. Use oils such as sunflower, safflower, rice bran, soybean, peanut, sesame etc. Change your cooking oil every  2-3 months.
