If you are thinking of getting pregnant and you have PCOS and thyroid problems, it is advisable to see a gynaecologist or a fertility specialist. There is no cure for PCOS, but we can help you to produce an egg every month with treatment. If you have thyroid problems, it is important to check hormone levels and set that right as well. Additionally, ensure that you eat healthy food and exercise well and maintain your BMI between 20 - 25. I presume you are taking folic acid too. If not please start taking it and you will need to continue taking folic acid until 12 weeks of pregnancy.
