Wait for Labour or Go for c-section
Hello All,
Today we did color Doppler and everything is normal but AFI is 6 cm.
Baby weight : 3.7 kg
I am 39 week 2 days pregnant and EDD is 7th August.
No labour pain yet and the cervix is closed.
I wanted to go for normal delivery, but my gynac is suggesting c-section because of the below points:
1. Baby weight is more
2. AFI is 6cm
3. Cervix not open and labour pain might not come now.
She wants to go for a C-section. Need some guidance if I should wait till 7th Aug which is 6 more days or should not take any risk and go for s-section as suggested by doctor ?

Go for a Caesarean.
I always want to remember one thing. At 39 weeks the baby head has not gone down. The weight is 3.7 kg. There should be something which is preventing the descent of the baby's head which we are not able to figure out at this stage.
It is better to respect the wisdom of God and go ahead and do a safe Caesarean.
