My husband is diagnosed as vitamin d difficiency and he is on medications. However he is suggested to consult psychiatrist. How much important is that and do we need to consult psychiatrist or psychologist. Regards Sowmya

Hi As per this prescription he is advised to take nexito tablet , which is basically an antidepressant drug. So probably he might have some depressive symptoms or anxiety symptoms,  that's why he is advised for psychiatrist opinion. So mam,  you need to consult a psychiatrist. Thanks and regards
