Hello dear The two preparations you have mentioned both contain calcium but have different formulations of calcium: citrate in celol and carbonate in shelcal. The two are given in two different subsets of patients. Which one to take can only be decided based on your profile: 1. Are you on any antacids? 2. Do you have any digestive problems? 3. Do you have any kidney issues? Additionally how much calcium and vit d to be taken is decided based on test reports. Please consult with test results and answers to the above mentioned questions.
