Your symptoms of severe itching with red patches in the scrotum and inner thigh area are most commonly due to a fungal infection (tinea cruris / jock itch). Dusting powder alone often does not treat the infection completely, which is why the itching may still persist. Helpful Tips / Word of Caution: • Avoid steroid combination creams, as they can worsen fungal infections. • Wear loose cotton underwear and change it daily. • Do not scratch the area, as this can increase irritation and spread infection. • Wash underwear and towels regularly and dry them properly in sunlight. You can take an online consultation with me for detailed evaluation and treatment.
