My mother is suffering from a lung infection and her Haemoglobin level is 7.3 which is severely low. I am really tensed.

You didn't mention the age of your mother. You didn't mention if she generally has been anaemic or there has been a drop in her haemoglobin level recently. Please get her CBC and peripheral blood smear examination done and consult with your General Physician. He will guide how to manage the anaemia.
