Hi doctor, My wife is facing issue of itching, buring sensation and white discharge from past 3-4 days. Few area of outer vagina is also getting whitish in color. So I request you to let me know the issue and medicine for her treatment. Please check photo .

Based on symptoms and photo, this looks like vaginal fungal (yeast) infection. It causes itching, burning, white discharge and whitish patches. She should consult a gynecologist for confirmation. Usually treated with antifungal vaginal cream/suppository and sometimes oral antifungal tablet. Avoid self-medication, keep area dry, avoid intercourse till symptoms settle. If symptoms persist or worsen, in-person exam is needed.
