Uterine fibroids

2022-04-11 12:07:47
Hello doctor I'm 48F. I've recently been diagnosed with uterine fibroids in myometrium. The largest is 58*52mm. Due to fibroids, i had very heavy menstrual bleeding. The doctor gave me Trapic MF. She told me to take it three times a day for 5days of the cycle. But i only took it for the first two days. Was it a mistake?

You have got a fairly big fibroid Uterus. You will need surgery sooner or later. All other treatments are for buying time and if taken properly they are more expensive than Hysterectomy. Please decide for surgery. You may like to consult with me on Practo on the subject.

No not a mistake but it won't help you a lot . If it is submucosal fibroid on USG : You will require Combined pills along with tranexa for few days You should also get your Endometrial biopsy done . So consult a OBGY doctor for same
