Unknowingly took alcohol while 8 weeks

Hi Doctor, I drank half a glass of breezer which contains 5% alcohol unknowingly that i was pregnant 8 weeks. Wil there be any complications? I'm very worried. I was forced by peers. Please advice

It was not known that you are pregnant or breezer contains alcohol? Alcohol is not safe in pregnancy and especially in early pregnancy. But the dose what you are saying is not very specific to be dangerous . So we can only wait and watch

Hi Alcohol on pregnancy is not safe But the amount u took is not very large . Did u take before this also , means last 4 weeks? U shud do all scans n tests as advised by the doctor time to time especially level 1 scan , NT - NB and anomaly scan n fetal ECHO at specific gestation as advised

Drinking Alcohol during pregnancy can cause miscarriages and stillbirth and sometimes Fetal alcohol syndrome. Do routine antenatal checkups and tests to detect any kind of issues and avoid any furthur use of alcohol.

having alcohol is not good,  but the quantity  is not much adhere to scan  protocols  of NT and anomaly don't have it again
