I have a unhealed while 5 and half years episiotomy wound not healed properly wound means a pin point gap in the Anul right side if any chance to grow cancer? Consulted 7 more doctors including surgeons gynecologists homeopathy and ayurveda Doctor too but everyone tells there is no problem with it but some times I will press the wound blood comes sometimes small amount of pus comes my question is if any chance to cancer I really tensed about it plz help Doctor 🙏
Based on your description, it is most likely not due to cancer. Chronic, small openings with occasional pus or blood after an episiotomy are usually related to a small sinus tract or chronic infection, not cancer. However, to be sure, please get an MRI of the perineum done. Once the MRI report is available, review it with the right doctor for further management. Don’t worry – this is typically treatable and unlikely to be cancer.
