Hi iam having mild hernia and going for open surgery is it fine to have a open type and how many days I have to take rest. After surgery will there be any complications.

I will suggest to you for laparoscopic repair if it is possible (bcz i don't know the exact location), or if advised by your doctor too. Post operative stay in hospital and recovery is early and much better. You can call me if you want to discuss. Best wishes.
