Hi doctors, I have attached my wife ultra sound report done today. It has something highlighted in red. I am worried can you please explain what is this? Is it normal? Should I be worried? Please please answer. I have attached report.

It is not normal but most of the time it doesn't have any adverse connotations. You should get 2D ECHO of the baby's heart when the baby is born. I hope you had got her Double marker and Quad Marker test done.

Fetal echo needs to be done. Both these are soft markers. Have triple/ quadruple marker done?

The echogenic cardiac focus needs further evaluation in the form of fetal echo at 22 weeks Arsa can be ignored if double marker test is normal
