My mother, age 54 has been suffering from type 2 diabetes since 2 years and thyroid problem since 10 years. She is taking medicine for diabetes. 2 months back her TSH level was 0.07. Doctor recommended to stop taking ELTROXIN 100 mcg.  She didn't take ELTROXIN for 2 months. Today her test report came. T4 level is 1.1 and TSH is more than 150. Now what medicine should be given and what is the dose. Please prescribe as soon as possible. I will be highly thankful to you sir...
