What complaints do you have.. Nerve root compression is usually due to disc prolapse. It is curable.. The treatment depends on the clinical condition.. If pain is minimal, it can be conserved with medicines like analgesics, nerve stimulants,  calcium and vit d supplements. If pain is significant,  it may require nerve root block
