Trazodone in bipolar

2024-02-21 05:15:32
I've been on olazapine for few years for bipolar disorder. Yesterday I started taking trazodone 12.5 for insomnia. I am feeling quite depressed today. Is it normal? Should I give it few more days?

Trazodone wont cause depression, infact it is the opposite. 12.5 mg is a very low dose mainly useful for only sleep. Give it a few days , if you are still feeling depressed please discuss the next course of action with your psychiatrist
