I am 21 years old. I've noticed that the edges of my teeth (canines and incisors) have become a little translucent. A very tiny part of my incisor chipped off today after having lunch. What to do? It's not possible for me to go to a dentist now. So, how do I prevent this at home? Please suggest some simple remedies or diet that i can try or practice at home.
You need to avoid all acidic food items like aerated drinks citrus fruits and juices. Also use ultra soft brush with soft hands and only use toothpaste which is less abrasive

Enamel is translucent. Your teeth are healthy and enamel hasnt worn off. Sometimes biting on stones or very hatd foods can cause chipping
Tooth never regenerates. So you need to visit a dentist to correct the chipped area with tooth like cement.
Avoid aerated drinks, extreme hot and cold goods together like fried icecream, acidic foods shouldn't be kept in mouth for too long. Use a soft bristled brush and use correct method of brushing. Avoid abrasive toothpaste.
Get regular sunlight for vit d and have calcium rich foods.
Unfortunately there is no home remedy for your problem and you will have to visit a dentist if you want any corrective measures to be undertaken. What you can avoid is biting hard foods from the front teeth and maintaining meticulous oral hygiene.
