Total knee replacement surgery on both l
Total knee replacement surgery for BOTH legs for my spouse fixed on April 1st 2020.Whether it is advisable to do the surgery owing to COVID-19,as she has to stay more than twenty days as inpatient in the hospital.Kindly advise

It is not advisable to go for elective surgery in the present day serinio when the whole atmosphere is infected with covid 19.
It will have all medical, social & legal repurcatations.
However she can practice some yoga based exercises.

I think the consensus is quite clear on the forum
Although we have not stopped doing joint replacements, we have been taking extreme care to screen each person who enters the premises of the hospital and we are able to do that as it's not the biggest of the hospitals

Total knee replacement is not an emergency. You can postpone it for a further date and wait for the virus to be controlled. Let's assume the current situation get worse, like in Europe. Your post op rehab might not be satisfactory as you will have limited access to the physiotherapist.
