Toothache (Root Canal delayed)

2018-03-29 06:15:16
I had to get root canals done but due to a lot of factors, I kept delaying. Now my dentist says that the teeth have decayed. Removing the teeth would be more appropriate than any other procedure. Is there anything else we can try? I'm 25 years old so I don't really want to remove the teeth but I don't want the other teeth to be affected either. So if I do remove the affected teeth can I replace them will teeth-like looking implants? How much do implants cost in average?

Take a second opinion from another dentist.. And you are right nothing is better then saving a natural tooth if it can be saved by root canal treatment..

If the tooth cannot be saved by performing a RCT then u may have to get it extracted. Nonetheless we can replace it with implants . You have various options in implants depending on the choices you make and condition of your bone which will need evaluation before going for implant treatment. It will rang from 15000 to 45000
Next Steps
Visit a prosthodontist and get yourself examined for implants before extracting the tooth
