Root canal treatment makes a tooth dead so there shouldn't be any sensitivity with that tooth.visit your dentist again

Sensitivity could be in the tooth/teeth adjacent to the one which has been root canal treated. Did you for a cap/crown on the root canal treated tooth? If yes, then it is common to have minor abrasions on the adjacent tooth/teeth while preparing the tooth for a cap/crown. This can usually be taken care of by a de-sensitizing toothpaste or de-sensitizing mouthwashes. However, i suggest you see your dentist once to confirm that there is no other issue.
