Call a dentist to make an appointment if you have or suspect you have a cavity. This is especially true if an abscess develops, during which you may experience: An intense toothache Pain in the gums Redness inside the mouth and/or outside the mouth on the face or jaw A bad taste in your mouth Difficulty opening the mouth or chewing food A swollen face or jaw A high temperature Sensitivity to hot or cold food or drinks The pain can come and go, so don't cancel your appointment if the pain fades temporarily. The damage won't repair itself, so the pain will surely rebound.
Next Steps
Visit the clinic for clinical examination.

Hello, From your description, it seems that the decay has advanced, and a normal filling may not suffice anymore. Based on the severity, the tooth might require: 1. Root Canal Treatment (RCT): If the tooth is restorable and the infection is manageable. 2. Extraction: If it's a third molar (wisdom tooth) or if the tooth is grossly decayed and cannot be saved. This decision will depend on a clinical examination and an X-ray to assess the tooth's condition.
Next Steps
For now, you can continue with: Tab. Zerodol-SP, twice daily (for pain and inflammation) Cap. Amox 500 mg, three times daily (antibiotic) Tab. Pan 40, once daily, on an empty stomach (to prevent acidity)
Health Tips
Please visit a dental clinic as soon as possible to prevent the infection from spreading further. Timely treatment will help you avoid complications. Take care!

Hi, The antibiotics and pain killer will help in reducing the pain. Once you are back after a week, visit a dentist and get the tooth treated.
