Dental extraction is a minor surgical procedure and is done absolutely painlessly because it is done under local anaesthesia.
But just like any other injury, the post operative healing phase is likely to give you slight discomfort which can be variable amongst different patients depending upon factors like nutrition, following the instructions given by the dentist meticulously, and at the same time, local inflammation and infection.
The healing of the skin or the mucosa is completed within 7 to 10 days but the healing of the bone can take up to one and half months, again depending upon the intake of proteins and
Calcium and
Vitamin D.
It is safe to remove other teeth while the healing of the previous wound is going on but preferably the gap between these two procedures should be at least 7 to 8 days.
The dentist who has performed the clinical examination will be the best judge to decide whether the next procedure can be continued with or not.
Regards.
