Tooth extraction

I am in a sales job, where i need to talk a lot on a daily basis. I have a third molar tooth extraction to be done (both upper and lower). How soom i can resume my work after the extraction??

You can resume work in 3 to 4 days. But, swelling may stay upto 7 days too.

Normally u will b advised not to talk for an hour or two post extraction. If ur extraction is less traumatic, u can resume work the next day itself.

Impacted 3rd molar extraction is elective and day care surgery.That depends upon the time taken and how much traumatic the extraction  is. Although some 24 hrs instruction is there and medication is provided to continue you need to be careful for following instruction for next 24 hrs.
