Tooth decay

Yesterday, while I was having breakfast one of my tooth got chipped. I am having a slight pain in the tooth. Is it the case of tooth decay? If yes, what might the possible solution for it and what treatment procedure a dentist follows.

Hello sir , it Is due to sensitivity in exposed dentin in the tooth. Kindly visit dentist for layering of your exposed tooth with a tooth coloured composite filling.

Normally chipping of tooth does not happen unless something wrong with the tooth You may send the photos for more details

Hi, the chip in the tooth needs to be looked at immediately as you have slight pain, kindly see a dentist asap as there could be decay which needs to be removed and a filling put in to avoid getting the nerve involved. Also get an X-ray done to see the extent of fracture.

A tooth chips most of the times coz there is cavity or in simple language decay.... coz the tooth is weak due to decay it chips off during eating or anything precisely comes on that tooth... so visit a dentist nd get that tooth filled ....
