Upon review these were the findings-
C/c-Patient complains of fever, tooth pain with severe pain on left side of the face and difficulty in jaw movement on left side of the mouth since 2 days.
Drug allergies?
Intra oral and extra oral photographs?
Swelling? (Facial or mouth)
Elaborately these are to be done for-
Access opening of affected tooth and drainage, open dressing and medications for 5days. RCT irt tooth affected and crown capping.
(or)
If tooth is grossly decayed extraction irt affected tooth.
Provisional diagnosis-
Periapical abscess irt tooth left side of the mouth region,
Trismus
Differential diagnosis-
Irreversible pulpitis
Diagnostic tests-
OPG
Percussion and thermal tests for tooth vitality
Treatment advise for-
Access opening of affected tooth followed by medications and RCT in following visit (or)
Extraction if tooth is grossly decayed, post surgical care
