Toothache since needs to addressed at the earliest, you need to do an X-ray and check if the tooth can be salvaged by treatment. Gaps between teeth could be an early sign of gum disease which can be definitely treated.
Next Steps
Get an OPG X-ray done and repost in the same forum, will help clinicians suggest a definitive treatment plan.
Health Tips
Most dental conditions if detected early can be treated by simple procedures with just a filling and probably scaling. Visiting a dentist once in six months definitely helps in detecting your dental problems early.

You should visit a dentist Asap. There is no point suffering. If your broken tooth is restorable, then a Root canal would be done in all probability. However, it is important to assess clinically and also please get an X-ray done.
