Hi
I hear you, and I want you to know that what you’re feeling is serious but also something that can be worked through. You’ve achieved an incredible result in JEE Mains—99.9644% is no small feat. But right now, it sounds like the pressure, exhaustion, and expectations are overwhelming you, making it hard to focus or even find meaning in things.
Feeling disconnected, not wanting to talk, struggling to study, crying often, and sleeping excessively—all of these are signs of emotional burnout and possibly depression. You’re not alone in this. Many high-achieving students feel the same when stress builds up beyond their capacity to handle. Right now, your mind and body are shutting down because they need rest, balance, and support.
Instead of blaming yourself for not studying, let’s first focus on getting you back to a stable state. Start small—short study sessions, breaks with things that make you feel even a little bit lighter, and reaching out to someone you trust about how you feel. If thoughts of dying keep coming, please don’t keep them inside. You deserve help, and you deserve to feel better.
You are not alone, and this is not the end. JEE Advanced is important, but your mental health is more important. Let’s work through this together.
