My treatment for tmj disorder was going on through splint (to wear 24 /7)and braces. Now probably after touching my upper and lower molar teeth my orthodentist told me not to wear my splint further and she has put braces on remaining teeth which was before kept free to wear splint. But even now my upper and lower teeth do not fit properly with each other. This situation makes me feel very uncomfortable. Why is she doing such thing? Can you say the steps you do to treat tmj problem? Please explain it to me and please help...

Yes sir after splinting ,braces are done for bite correction. It will take some time . Have patience and have faith on your doctor. If there is any confusion discuss with your doctor.
