Greetings 23 months, toddler nutritional supplementation requirements change significantly.Healthy toddlers need 600 IU of Vitamin D daily from milk or sun.Prophylactic iron drops are usually stopped after 12 months of age.Only a pediatrician can determine if your daughter still needs supplements.Giving unnecessary iron supplements can cause stomach upset or toxicity.Consult your pediatrician to evaluate her current dietary and growth needs.

Hello, Vitamin D supplementation is usually recommended until 1 year of age in most infants. Iron may be given either as a preventive supplement or at a therapeutic dose if a child has iron deficiency based on your paediatrician’s assessment. If your child is active, gaining weight well, eating a balanced diet, and has no ongoing health concerns, vitamin D and iron supplements can usually be stopped.
