Thyroiditis and lymph node swelling
Hi
USG neck for my wife revealed thyroiditis. She also has developed some swollen lymph nodes at back of neck which seem to be growing in size. CBC is normal and TSH value is 8.4.
What can be done?

She is clearly a case of low thyroid function also called hypothyroid.
Since usg report shows inflammation thyroiditis - you should rule out autoimmune condition called hashimotos which is most common condition of hypothyroidism.
Get tested for
Thyroid antibodies.

Get a FNA done on that swollen lymph node. A high TSH means you have hypothyroidism.
