Should the thyroid test t3,t4 ,TSH be taken on empty stomach? Also can I have the medicine thyronorm 150 mcg on the day before taking the test?

Thyronorm can interfere with thyroid test results. Tests should be done in fasting state preferably, to pick up mild early hypothyroidism. Therefore tests should be done after 8 hrs fasting and by not taking the medication before the blood draw. It’s ok to take the medicine after blood is drawn
