Thyroid blood test advice

I have been taking medicine for thyroid if someone taking medication what blood test they should do like normal thyroid profile or free thyroid profile plz suggest and also can I take medicine on day of blood test or do without taking medication plz suggest

Depends on the condition. Usually TSH alone is sufficient. U may do Free T4 as well. Medicine intake doesn’t matter on the test of day

Hello.. I hope your are taking tab for low thyroid hormone that is hypothyroidism.. Thyroid tests to be done is normal T3T4TSH.. Free levels are usually not needed routinely.. RATHER for hypothyroidism monitoring only TSH is needed.. About medication on the day of testing, it won't affect TSH results so u should take it..
